What winners receive:
$2,000 Cash Prize Each of the 3 winners will receive a $2,000 cash prize to implement the project submitted to the contest.
Project Visibility & Media Coverage Selected projects and their progress may be featured across 1xStartup and 1xBet communication channels and in media coverage connected to the project.
Expert Feedback & Mentorship Winners will have access to practical feedback and insights from entrepreneurs and professionals involved in 1xStartup.

Who can apply?
You can apply if you:
- are 18–35 years old;
- currently reside in Zambia;
- have a business or social project you want to develop;
- have a realistic idea of how the project can be implemented;
- are ready to explain how the cash prize would be used;
- are prepared to implement the submitted project if selected as a winner.
Previous business experience is not required.
Your project can be at an early stage. What matters is the quality of the idea, its relevance, feasibility and your readiness to move it forward.

The application is designed to help the jury understand both your idea and how you plan to turn it into action.
You will be asked to provide:
Your Project
A short description of your business or social project, what you want to create or develop and who it is for.
Relevance for Zambia
Explain the problem or need your project addresses and the value it could create for customers, communities or society.
Implementation Plan
Describe the main steps needed to move your project forward and the resources required.
Use of the Cash Prize
Explain how you would use the $2,000 cash prize and how those expenses would contribute to the implementation of your project.
Your Motivation
Tell us why your project should be selected and why you are ready to implement it.
